ADUSTMENT OF CARBURETTOR IDLE
ANGLE WITH THROTTLE GRIP RELEASED
(Carburettor synchronization)
Remove the driver's seat and the fuel tank.
Remove the air cleaner case.
Remove the throttle cables from the splitting
box.
Remove the carburettors.
Loosen the lock nut and turn in the cable adju-
ster 030.
Turn back the throttle stop screw knob
the right carburettor (R) to lower the throttle
valve

to the full close position.
Likewise, tighten the throttle stop screw on the
left carburettor (L) after loosening the lock nut.
Adjust the throttle valve idle position by tur-
ning the knob (right carburettor) or the screw
(left carburettor) so that the minimum clearan-
ce between the throttle valve
comes to the specification.
Use a piece of 0,7 mm wire
checking the clearance.
Throttle valve clearance: 0,7 mm
Install both carburettors to the engine.
Adjust the cable slack of right and left carburet-
tor turning each cable adjuster to 0,5 – 1,0 mm.
Cable slack: 0,5 – 1,0 mm
Tighten each lock nut 070.

REGULACION DE LA APERTURA MINIMA DE
LA VALVULA DEL CARBURADOR CON
ACELERADOR SOLTADO
(Sincronizador del carburador)
Desmontar el sillín del piloto y el depósito del
combustible.
Sacar la caja del filtro del aire.
Sacar los cables del acelerador de la caja del
duplicador de cables.
Desmontar los carburadores.
Aflojar la contratuerca y enroscar el regulador

del cable.
Girar el puño

del retén de la válvula del car-
burador derecho (R), hasta bajar la válvula
en posición de cierre completo.
Análogamente, desatornillar el tornillo del
retén de la válvula sobre el carburador izquier-
po (L), después de haber aflojado la contro-
tuerca.
Regular la posición de apertura mínima de la
válvula, haciendo girar el puño (carburador de-
recho) o el tornillo (carburador izquierdo) de
retén de la válvula, de manera que la distancia
mínima entre la válvula
conforme con el valor establecido.
Para controlar la distancia, usar un trozo de hi-
lo metálico
060
con diámetro de 0,7 mm, o bien
una punta de taladro.
Apertura mínima de la válvula: 0,7 mm
Instalar los dos carburadores en el motor.
Regular el juego de los cables de los carbura-
dores derecho e izquierdo a 0,5 - 1,0 mm ha-
ciendo girar el regulador de cada carburador.
Juego del cable: 0,5 - 1,0 mm
Apretar las dos contratuercas 070.
