Heli-FX Guide with Obturator
The Heli-FX Guide is a sterile, single patient use, disposable device that is used to direct the
Heli-FX Applier to the desired location for EndoAnchor implantation. The Heli-FX Guide consists
of a steerable guide catheter and control handle. Included with the Heli-FX Guide is an obturator.
The obturator has an atraumatic tip with a radiopaque maker, which is located within 2 mm of the
Obturator tip. The obturator allows the Guide to be advanced over the wire delivery within the
patient's vasculature and is compatible with a 0.035" guide wire.
The distal tip of the Heli-FX Guide can be deflected in a single direction or straightened through
rotation of the Deflector Knob located on the control handle.
A C-shaped radiopaque marker is located at the distal tip of the Heli-FX Guide to aid in orientation
under fluoroscopy. A straight radiopaque marker is located at the outer curvature of the deflectable
section of the Guide to indicate the direction of tip deflection. Figure 4 details the components of
the Heli-FX Guide.

and feature tip reach lengths of 22 mm, 32 mm, or 42 mm.
