Approach
The transport straps are under tension and can whip back uncontrolled when
they are cut, and thus cause severe injuries.

Remove (if any) wrapping foil and transport strapping.

Open the carton and remove the filling and packing material.
Lift the system with 1-2 people over the positions a and b (see Fig. 5-1, page
4
15) from the packaging and place it onto a stable surface.
Before starting any operations, remove all the transport protection.

Label stock and *² ribbon must be removed from the system

Attach the labeller onto pallet and transport the system to its storage posi-
tion. Observe the safety instructions stated in the upper section "Unpacking
and transport" for the securing and transporting.

To protect against dust, cover the labeller with a cotton or paper towel. No
foils may be used, in order to avoid the formation of condensate.

A test of the system is required before a recommissioning of the labeller.
