Connection to the mains voltage
Prerequisites
Power supply in accordance with the Chapter "Technical data", is installed in the
vicinity of the labelling site (max 1.5 metres away).
Mains cable and mains connection cable (see in the accessory box)

Connect the applicator
The signal exchange between printer and applicator is performed via the applicator inter-
face (pos. 2, Fig. 6-2, page 38). In addition to the signals for the application cycle, the
power supply (for the applicator controller, valves, etc.) are also ensured through this con-
nection.

Approach
Plug the, still not connected, mains power cable into the IEC connection of the
printer.
Connect the other end of the mains cable to the power connector (standard
230 Volt earthed socket).
Do not connect or disconnect electrical connections while
they are under voltage.
̶ Switch off the labelling system before establishing or separat-
ing electrical connections, in order to prevent damage to the
electronics.
Approach
Insert the applicator cable at the back side of the printer to the applicator inter-
face.
Secure the plug with the help of the brackets.
