7.5.1 SUSTITUCION PASTILLAS FRENO

Lea con mucho cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E IN-
FORMACIONES GENERALES).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete.

Quite el pasador elástico de cierre (1).
X
Con un punzón empuje el perno (2) hacia afuera (de
X
izquierda a derecha).
Extraiga las dos pastillas (3).
X

Tras haber quitado la pastillas no accione la
palanca de mando del freno, en caso contrario
los pistones de la pinza podrían salirse del
alojamiento y provocar la pérdida del líquido de fre-
nos.
Introduzca dos pastillas nuevas.
X

Sustituya siempre ambas pastillas y controle
que estén bien colocadas en el interior de la
pinza.
Introduzca el perno (2).
X
introduzca el pasador elástico de cierre (1).
X
Controle el nivel líquido frenos, véase 2.17 (CON-
X
TROL Y RELLENO LIQUIDO FRENO DELANTERO).


7.5.2 CONTROL DISCO FRENO

Hay que realizar las siguientes operaciones
con el disco freno instalado en la rueda.
Controle el desgaste del disco midiendo con un micró-
X
metro, en varios puntos, el espesor mínimo.
Si el espesor mínimo fuera inferior al valor mínimo,
aunque en un solo punto, sustituya el disco.
Valor mínimo del espesor del disco: 4,5 mm
Utilizando un comparador, controle que la oscilación
X
máxima del disco no supere la tolerancia, en caso
contrario sustitúyalo.
Tolerancia de oscilación del disco: 0,3 mm
Par de apriete tornillos de sujeción disco:
12 Nm (1,2 kgm)
Cuando lo instale aplique LOCTITE
medio.

7.5.3 DESMONTAJE DISCO FRENO

Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Extraiga la rueda delantera, véase 7.2.1 (DESMON-

TAJE).
Destornille y quite los seis tornillos disco freno (4)
X
Par de apriete tornillos disco freno:
12 Nm (1,2 kgm).

Durante el reensamblaje aplique LOCTITE
frena roscas medio sobre la rosca de los tor-
nillos disco freno.

Durante el reensamblaje atornille todos los
tornillos manualmente y apriételos actuando
en diagonal según el siguiente orden: A-B-C-D-E-F
Extraiga el disco freno (5).

7.5.1 CHANGING THE BRAKE PADS

Read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFORMA-
TION) carefully.
Position the vehicle on the stand.

Withdraw the flexible stop pin (1).
X
Using a punch, push out the pin (2) (from left to right).
X
Extract the two pads (3).
X

the brake fluid.
Insert two new pads.
X

Insert the pin (2).
X
Insert the flexible stop pin (1).
X
Check the brake fluid level, see 2.17 (CHECKING

AND TOPPING UP THE FRONT BRAKE FLUID).

7.5.2 CHECKING THE BRAKE DISC
Check the wear on the disc by measuring the minimum

thickness in several places by means of a micrometer.
If, even in one point of the disc only, the minimum thick-
ness is below the minimum value, change the disc.
Brake disc min. thickness: 4.5 mm.
Using a comparator, make sure that the maximum
X
wobbling of the disc does not exceed the limit value,
otherwise change it.
Brake disc max. wobbling: 0.3 mm
Disc fastening screw driving torque:
12 Nm (1.2 kgm).
Assemble with medium LOCTITE
® frena roscas
7.5.3 REMOVING THE BRAKE DISC
Read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFORMA-
TION) carefully.
Remove the front wheel, see 7.2.1 (DISASSEMBLY).

Unscrew and remove the six brake disc screws (4).

Brake disc screw driving torque:
12 Nm (1.2 kgm).
