SISTEMA DE REFRIGERACIÓN
5.3 DESMONTAJE ELECTROVENTILADOR DE
REFRIGERACION
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete.

Deje enfriar el motor hasta que el mismo al-
cance la temperatura ambiente.
Saque el depósito combustible, véase 7.1.1 (DES-
MONTAJE DEPOSITO COMBUSTIBLE).
Desmonte el carenado delantero, véase 7.1.14 (DES-
MONTAJE CARENADO DELANTERO).
Desconecte el conector eléctrico (1) del electroventila-
dor (2).

Suelte el cable de la abrazadera de bloqueo
(3). Prepare luego otra abrazadera que habrá
que utilizar durante la instalación.
Destornille y quite los tres tornillos de fijación (4) y
guarde la redecilla de protección (5), la protección (6),
las arandelas y, si acaso, las brújulas y las gomas.

Durante la instalación coloque correctamente
el anillo-guía fijado por el tornillo (4).
Saque el equipo del electroventilador (2) deslizándolo
hacia abajo y al mismo tiempo desplace apenas el
manguito (7).
5.4 DESMONTAJE TERMOINTERRUPTOR
LIQUIDO REFRIGERANTE
Lea con cuidado 1.2.5 (LÍQUIDO REFRIGERANTE) y
1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMACIONES GENERA-
LES).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete.

Deje enfriar el motor hasta que el mismo al-
cance la temperatura ambiente.
Desconecte los conectores eléctricos (8-9) del termo-
interruptor (10).
Desagüe parcialmente el líquido refrigerante (aproxi-
madamente la mitad del contenido), véase 2.15

(SUBSTITUCIÓN DEL LÍQUIDO REFRIGERANTE).
El nivel del líquido restante debe estar por de-
bajo del agujero por el cual se introduce el ter-
mointerruptor.
Destornille y saque el termointerruptor (10) y guarde la

junta.
Durante la instalación extienda sobre la rosca
del termointerruptor (10) LOCTITE
Par de apriete termointerruptor (10): 30 Nm (3 kgm).
Efectúe el relleno, véase 2.14 (CONTROL Y RELLE-
NO DEL LÍQUIDO REFRIGERANTE).

5.3 REMOVING
THE COOLING ELECTROFAN
Read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFORMA-
TION) carefully.
Position the vehicle on the stand.

Remove the fuel tank, see 7.1.1 (REMOVING THE
FUEL TANK).
Remove the front fairing, see 7.1.14 (REMOVING THE
FRONT FAIRING).
Disconnect the electric connector (1) of the electrofan
(2).

Unscrew and remove the three fastening screws (4)
and take the protection grid (5), the guard (6), the
washers and the bushes and rubber elements, if any.

Remove the whole electrofan (2) withdrawing it down-
wards and at the same time shift the coupling (7)
slightly.
5.4 REMOVING THE COOLANT THERMAL
SWITCH
Read 1.2.5 (COOLANT) and 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND
GENERAL INFORMATION) carefully.
Position the vehicle on the stand.

Disconnect the electric connectors (8-9) from the ther-
mal switch (10).
Partially drain the coolant (about half the content), see
2.15 (CHANGING THE COOLANT).

Unscrew and remove the thermal switch (10) and take

Termal switch (10) driving torque: 30 Nm (3 kgm).
Top up the expansion tank, see 2.14 (CHECKING
AND TOPPING UP COOLANT).
Let the engine cool down until it reaches room
temperature.
Release the cable from the fastening clamp
(3). Get another clamp to be used for the reas-
sembly.
Upon reassembly, correctly position the cable
guide ring fixed by the screw (4).
Let the engine cool down until it reaches room
temperature.
The level of the remaining coolant must be be-
low the hole in which the thermal switch is in-
