4.5.4 INSTALACION CARBURADORES

Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).

Antes de seguir adelante con la instalación de
los carburadores, compruebe que las dos vál-
vulas de mariposa (1-2) estén perfectamente
alineadas, en caso contrario intervenga en el tornillo
(3).

Apriete el tornillo de fijación (4) moderada-
mente por ser éste de material plástico.
Introduzca el dispositivo para el arranque en frío en su
sede correspondiente sobre el carburador izquierdo,
apretando el tornillo de fijación (4).
Vuelva a conectar el cable mando acelerador (5) sobre
el carburador izquierdo.
Introduzca los carburadores sobre los dos manguitos
(6-7).
Apriete los dos tornillos sobre las abrazaderas (8-9).
Aguante el portaequipajes y levantando el grupo vás-
tago del sillín/caja filtro acompañe la introducción de
los carburadores sobre los dos colectores del cilindro
y, a la vez, ponga en línea los agujeros de fijación (B).

Controle que los carburadores hayan sido in-
troducidos correctamente sobre los dos co-
lectores del cilindro.
Apriete el tornillo sobre la abrazadera (10).

A partir de este punto, siga adelante con la
instalación de los carburadores actuando de
manera contraria al desmontaje, empezando
por la NOTA (Y), véase 4.5.3 (DESMONTAJE CAR-
BURADORES).

Una vez acabada la instalación podría resultar
necesario ajustar los cables del acelerador y
del arranque en frío, véanse 2.9 (CABLE DEL
ACELERADOR) y 2.10 (CABLE DEL ARRANQUE EN
FRÍO).

4.5.4 REINSTALLING THE CARBURETTORS

Read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFOR-
MATION) carefully.

Before proceeding to the reinstallation of the
carburettors, make sure that the two throttle
valves (1-2) are perfectly aligned and if neces-
sary adjust the screw (3).

Tighten the fastening screw (3) moderately,
since it is made of plastic.
Introduce the cold start device in the apposite seat on
the left carburettor, tightening the fastening screw (4).
Reconnect the accelerator control cable (5) on the left
carburettor.
Introduce the carburettors in the two manifolds (6-7).
Tighten the two screws on the clamps (8-9).
Grasp the luggage rack, lift the saddle pillar/filter case
unit and gradually insert the carburettors in the two
manifolds of the cylinder, at the same time aligning the
fastening holes (B).

Make sure that the carburettors are correctly
inserted in the two manifolds of the cylinder.
Tighten the screw on the clamp (10).

From this point onwards, proceed with the re-
installation of the carburettors starting from
NOTE (Y), see 4.5.3 (REMOVING THE CAR-
BURETTORS) and following the reverse order with
respect to the removal.

Once the carburettors have been reinstalled, it
may be necessary to adjust the accelerator
cable, see 2.9 (ACCELERATOR CABLE) and
the cold start cable, see 2.10 (COLD START CA-
BLE).
