PUESTA A PUNTO
2.10 CABLE DEL ARRANQUE EN FRÍO
El cable para arrancar en frío debe estar ajustado de ma-
nera tal que la palanca (1) tenga un juego en vacío de
2-3 mm. Si fuese necesario ajustarlo, proceda de la si-
guiente manera:
Apoye el vehículo sobre el soporte.
Extraiga la envoltura de protección (2).
Afloje la contratuerca (3).
Gire el tensor (4) para un lado hasta obtener el juego
en vacío indicado.
Luego del ajuste, apriete la contratuerca (3) y controle
nuevamente el juego de la palanca.
Coloque nuevamente la envoltura de protección (2).

Tras haber finalizado el ajuste, controle que la
rotación del manillar no modifique el régimen
del ralentí del motor.

2.11 CABLE DEL EMBRAGUE

Ajuste tras los primeros 1000 km y sucesivamente, cada
6000 km.
Efectúe el ajuste del embrague cuando el motor se pare
o el vehículo (con la palanca de mando del embrague ti-
rada y la marcha puesta) tienda a avanzar, o bien, si el
embrague patina produciendo un retardo de la acelera-
ción con respecto al número de revoluciones del motor.
Para ajustar el embrague, efectúe la siguiente operación:
Apoye el vehículo sobre el soporte.
Extraiga la envoltura de protección (5).
Afloje la contratuerca (6).
Gire el regulador (7) hasta que el juego en vacío de la
palanca de mando del embrague sea de 10 mm.

Apriete la contratuerca (6) y controle nuevamente el
ajuste.
Coloque nuevamente la envoltura de protección (5).
Arranque el motor y ponga la 1ª marcha, cerciórese
que el motor no se pare o que el vehículo no tienda a
avanzar, o bien, que el embrague no patine durante la
aceleración o la marcha.

Controle que el cable del embrague esté sano:
no debe tener la vaina aplastada o gastada en
toda su longitud.

2.10 COLD START CABLE

The cold start cable must be adjusted so that the hand le-
ver (1) has an idle stroke of 2-3 mm. If adjustment is nec-
essary, proceed as follows:
Position vehicle on stand.
Remove the protection guard (2).
Loosen the lock nut (3).
Rotate the adjuster (4) in one of the two directions to
obtain the prescribed idle stroke.
After this adjustment, tighten the lock nut (3) and
check the hand lever play once more.
Put the protection guard (2) in place again.

On completion of adjustment check that the
rotation of the handlebar does not influence
the engine rpm.

2.11 CLUTCH CABLE

Adjust after first 1000 km and then after every 6000 km.
Adjustment of the clutch should be done when the engine
stops or the vehicle tends to move ahead (with the clutch
lever pulled and gear engaged) or else the clutch slips,
causing a delay in acceleration in respect of the engine
rpm.
To adjust the clutch, proceed as follows:
Position the vehicle on stand.
Remove the protection guard (5).
Loosen the lock nut (6).
Rotate the adjuster (7) until the idle stroke of the clutch
lever is ca. 10 mm.
Tighten the lock nut (6) and check the adjustment
again.
Put the protection guard in place again (5)
Switch on the engine and engage the 1st gear, making
sure that the engine does not stop or that the vehicle
does not tend to move ahead or the clutch slip during
the phase of acceleration or during a run.

Make sure the clutch cable is sound: it should
not have flattened parts and the sheath
should not be worn at any place along the entire
length.
