4.5.5 DESMONTAJE COMPONENTES PRINCIPALES
DE LOS CARBURADORES
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Desmonte los carburadores del vehículo, véase
4.5.3 (DESMONTAJE CARBURADORES).

Las operaciones que siguen se refieren al
desmontaje del carburador izquierdo, sin em-
bargo las mismas tienen validez incluso para
el carburador derecho. En caso de que se desmonten
los dos carburadores ponga cuidado en no mezclar
los componentes (algunos parecen iguales pero no
lo son).
Coloque los carburadores con los recipientes dirigidos
hacia lo alto encima de una superficie limpia y libre de
objetos.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (1-2) de fijación del
recipiente.
Levante y saque el recipiente (3).

Durante la instalación controle que la junta (4)
no esté dañada y que esté colocada correcta-
mente en el hueco correspondiente sobre el
recipiente.

El desmontaje y la sucesiva reinstalación de
los componentes debe efectuarse con el ma-
yor cuidado en cuanto si uno de ellos se es-
tropea, aunque mínimamente, esto podría influir ne-
gativamente sobre la carburación y por lo tanto
sobre el rendimiento del motor.
Apriete fijamente con dos dedos (véase figura) el gru-
po flotador (5) y levantándolo extráigalo de su sede.

Durante la instalación controle que la válvula
de aguja se instale correctamente en su sede
(6).

4.5.5 DISASSEMBLING THE MAIN COMPONENTS
FROM THE CARBURETTORS
Read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL INFOR-
MATION) carefully.
Remove the carburettors from the vehicle, see 4.5.3
(REMOVING THE CARBURETTORS).

The following operations refer to the disas-
sembly of the left carburettor, but are obvi-
ously valid also for the right carburettor.
If both carburettors are disassembled, be careful not
to mix up the components (some of them look alike,
but they aren't).
Position the carburettors with the chambers facing up-
wards on a clean and clear surface.
Unscrew and remove the two screws (1-2) that fasten
the chamber.
Lift and remove the chamber (3).

Upon reassembly make sure that the gasket
(4) is not damaged and that it is correctly posi-
tioned in the hollow seat on the chamber.

The disassembly and the successive reas-
sembly of the components must be carried
out with the greatest care, since even the
slightest damage to any of them may negatively af-
fect the carburetion and therefore the engine efficien-
cy.
Firmly press the float unit (5) with two fingers (see fig-
ure) and withdraw it from its seat by lifting it.

Upon reassembly make sure that the needle
valve correctly fits in its seat (6).
