OTN/OC-N/STM-N Interface Connections
Carefully connect optical fibre cables to the SFP/XFP's (FTB-8115,
FTB-8120, FTB-8120NG, FTB-8120NGE, FTB-8130, FTB-8130NG, and
FTB-8130NGE) or transponder (FTB-8140) IN and OUT ports. To ensure
good signal quality, make sure that the optical fibre connector is fully
inserted into the optical connector port.
To prevent exceeding the maximum input power level please use an
attenuator when a loopback configuration is used.
LASER red LED: The LASER LED is on when the FTB-8100 Series is
emitting an optical laser signal.
RX green LED: The RX LED is on when the FTB-8100 Series is receiving
an optical laser signal.
