ATENCION
Durante el desmontaje ponga cuidado en no dañar los
tubos, el disco y las pastillas del freno.
Para desmontar la rueda delantera actúe de la siguiente
manera:
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
IMPORTANTE
Prepare un soporte de 190 mm
de altura y base de apoyo de 200 x 200 mm.
Interponiendo un tejido esponjoso, coloque el soporte
por debajo del vehículo, de manera que la rueda delan-
tera tenga espacio suficiente para moverse libremente
y para evitar que el vehículo caiga.

PELIGRO
Asegúrese de la estabilidad del vehículo.
Desmonte la pinza freno delantero, véase pág. 107
(DESMONTAJE PINZAS FRENOS DELANTERO Y
TRASERO).
Introduzca el destornillador en el ojal (1), apalanque y
saque la tapa (2).
Bloquee con una llave el eje rueda (3).
Destornille y quite la tuerca (4) y guarde la arandela
(13).
Par de apriete tuerca-eje rueda (4):
120 Nm (12 kgm).
Empuje el eje de la rueda (3), actuando, con cuidado,
sobre la extremidad roscada y utilizando un martillo de
goma si es necesario.
IMPORTANTE
Controle la colocación del reen-
vío del cuentakilómetros (5) para poder volver a instalarlo
correctamente.
Aguante la rueda delantera y extraiga manualmente el
eje de la rueda (3).

ATENCION
No fuerce el cable del reenvío del cuentakilómetros.
Desplace lateralmente, hacia la derecha (sentido de
marcha), la rueda.
Desconecte el reenvío del cuentakilómetros (5).
Saque la rueda.

Antes de la instalación controle la integridad y, si es
necesario, sustituya:
– anillo de bloqueo (6);
– los cojinetes (7) y (8);
– la transmisión/cuentakilómetros (5);
– casquillos (9) y (10);
– anillo (11);
– el disco freno (12), (espesor mínimo 3,2 mm);
– el eje rueda (3);
Controle además el desgaste de las zapatas del freno,
véase pág. 109 (COMPROBACION DESGASTE PAS-
TILLAS).

While disassembling the wheel, be careful not to dam-
age the brake pipe, the disc and the pads.
To disassemble the front wheel, proceed as follows:
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
NOTE
Prepare a 190 mm high support, the base of
which must measure 200 x 200 mm.
Place the support under the vehicle and a spongy cloth
between them, so that the front wheel can move freely
and the vehicle cannot fall down.

Make sure that the vehicle is stable.
Remove the front brake caliper, see p. 107 (REMOV-
ING THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKE CALIPERS).
Introduce the screwdriver in the slot (1), lever and re-
move the cover (2).
Lock the wheel pin (3) by means of a spanner.
Unscrew and remove the nut (4), taking the washer
(13).
Wheel nut (4) driving torque:
120 Nm (12 kgm).
Push the wheel pin (3), by carefully acting on the
threaded end and using a rubber hammer if necessary.
NOTE
Check the arrangement of the odometer con-
trol (5), in order to be able to reassemble it correctly.
Support the front wheel and extract the wheel pin (3)
manually.

Do not force the odometer control cable.
Move the wheel rightwards (in the travelling direction).
Disconnect the odometer control (5).
Remove the wheel.

Before reassembly, check the soundness of the follow-
ing elements and if necessary change them:
– stop ring (6);
– bearings (7) and (8);
– speedometer control (5);
– bushings (9) e (10);
– ring (11);
– brake disc (12), (minimum thickness 3.2 mm);
– wheel pin (3).
Further, check the brake pad wear, see p. 109
(CHECKING WEAR OF THE BRAKE PADS).
