Vacíe del todo el depósito combustible, pág. 61 (EVA-
CUACION DEL COMBUSTIBLE DEL DEPOSITO) .
Recupere el combustible en un bidón, tápelo y póngalo
en un lugar seguro.
Desmonte la tapa carenado central, véase pág. 53
(DESMONTAJE CARENADO CENTRAL).
Desmonte los carenados laterales derecho e izquier-
do, véase pág. 47 (DESMONTAJE CARENADOS LA-
TERALES DERECHO E IZQUIERDO).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (1) y guarde la arandela.
Saque el casquillo (2) y la junta de goma (3).

ATENCION
Durante la instalación coloque los tubos en la misma
posición para evitar curvas anómalas o estrecha-
mientos.
IMPORTANTE
Tape la extremidad de los tubos
sueltos para evitar la salida de combustible residual.
Desconecte el conector eléctrico (4) de la sonda nivel
combustible.
Desconecte del empalme (5) el tubo de impulsión (6).
Desconecte del empalme (7) el tubo recogida combus-
tible (8).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (9).

ATENCION
Opere con precaución.
No fuerce los tubos.
Saque parcialmente la bomba combustible (10).
Extraiga completamente el tubo de drenaje (11).
Desconecte del depósito combustible el filtro (12) y
guarde el elemento filtrante.

Opere con precaución.
Desmonte el depósito combustible, extrayendo la par-
te inferior por primera y luego la parte superior.

Drain the fuel tank completely, see p. 61 (DRAINING
THE FUEL TANK).
Put the fuel in a container, plug it and store it in a safe
place.
Remove the centre fairing cover, see p. 53 (REMOV-
ING THE CENTRE FAIRING).
Remove the right and left side fairings, see p. 47 (RE-
MOVING THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE FAIRINGS).
Unscrew and remove the screw (1), taking the wash-
er.
Remove the bushing (2) and the rubber gasket (3).

Upon reassembly, arrange the pipes in the correct po-
sition, in order to avoid any twisting or abnormal
curve.
NOTE
Plug the ends of the free cables, in order to pre-
vent the outflow of residual fuel.
Disconnect the electric connector (4) of the fuel level
gauge unit.
Disconnect the delivery pipe (6) from the coupling (5).
Disconnect the fuel recovery pipe (8) from the coupling
(7).
Unscrew and remove the screw (9).

Proceed with care.
Do not force the pipes.
Partially remove the fuel pump (10).
Withdraw the drain pipe (11) completely.
Disconnect the filter (12) from the fuel tank, taking the
filtering element.

Proceed with care.
Remove the fuel tank, withdrawing first the lower part
and then the upper part.
