Maneje con precaución los componentes de plástico
y los pintados para no rayarlos o dañarlos.
Levante la parte trasera de la tapa carenado central (5)
para soltarla de los alojamientos y extráigala hacia
atrás.

IMPORTANTE
Quite la llave del interruptor de
encendido.
Desmonte la tapa carenado central, véase arriba
(DESMONTAJE TAPA CARENADO CENTRAL).
Desmonte la tapa de inspección delantera, véase pág.
45 (DESMONTAJE TAPA DE INSPECCION DELAN-
TERA).
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (6).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (7).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (8) y guarde la arandela.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (9).

Aleje ligeramente el escudo delantero exterior en el
sentido de marcha para extraer y sacar el escudo de-
lantero interior, girándolo hacia el sillín.

Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Unscrew and remove the three screws (1).
Remove the cap (2).
Unscrew and remove the three screws (3).
Remove the cover (4).

Proceed with care.
Do not damage the tangs and/or their seats.
Handle the plastic or painted components with care
and avoid scraping or damaging them.
Raise the rear part of the centre fairing cover (5), re-
leasing it from the housings, and withdraw it from be-
hind.

NOTE
Extract the key from the ignition switch.
Remove the centre fairing cover, see above (REMOV-
ING THE CENTRE FAIRING COVER).
Remove the front inspection cover, see p. 45 (REMOV-
ING THE FRONT INSPECTION COVER).
Unscrew and remove the two screws (6).
Unscrew and remove the screw (7).
Unscrew and remove the screw (8), taking the washer.
Unscrew and remove the two screws (9).

Proceed with care.

Shifting the front outer shield slightly in the travelling di-
rection, withdraw and remove the front inner shield
turning it toward the saddle.
