PELIGRO
NO ESPARZA EL LIQUIDO REFRIGERANTE EN EL
AMBIENTE.
Al extraer el manguito (1) saldrá del depósito de ex-
pansión (2) el líquido refrigerante.
Prepare un recipiente con capacidad de alrededor de
L
1
para recuperar el líquido que va a salir.
Coloque, por debajo del depósito de expansión, un
paño absorbente para recoger el líquido refrigerante
en caso de que éste se derrame.
IMPORTANTE
Prepare unas abrazaderas de
destornillador para sustituirlas a la original (de tipo espe-
cial sin tornillo).
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (3).
Extraiga el tubo (1) del empalme y deje salir completa-
mente, en el contenedor, el líquido refrigerante.
Trasiegue en un recipiente de recogida adecuado el lí-
quido que ha salido.

PELIGRO
El líquido refrigerante es nocivo: NO LO TRAGUE.
MANTENGASE LEJOS DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS.
NO ESPARZA EL LIQUIDO EN EL AMBIENTE.
Coloque el recipiente en un lugar seguro.
Sustituya la abrazadera (3) con otra nueva de destor-
nillador.
Conecte el tubo (1) en el empalme inferior bomba líqui-
do refrigerante.
Apriete la nueva abrazadera.
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (4).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación sustituya
la abrazadera con una nueva.
Extraiga el manguito (5) del empalme depósito de ex-
pansión.
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (6).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación sustituya
la abrazadera con una nueva.
Extraiga el manguito (7) del empalme depósito de ex-
pansión.
Saque el depósito de expansión (2).
IMPORTANTE
Después de la instalación, pur-
gue el líquido refrigerante, véase pág. 77 (PURGA INS-
TALACION DE REFRIGERACION).

(Bi/B)] del termistor (9).
Desmonte el termistor (9), véase MANUAL DE TA-
LLER MOTOR # 921 (I-UK-F-D-E).

Remove the right inspection cover, see 45 (REMOV-
ING THE RIGHT AND LEFT INSPECTION COVERS).
Remove the crash helmet compartment, see p. 41 [RE-
MOVING THE CRASH HELMET COMPARTMENT
(complete with saddle)].

DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE COOLANT IN THE ENVI-
RONMENT.
By withdrawing the pipe (1), you will make the coolant
flow out of the expansion tank (2).
Prepare a container with about 1
the outflowing coolant.
Put a cloth under the expansion tank, to absorb the
coolant that may drip on the floor.
NOTE
Get screwdriver-type pipe clamps, to replace
the original ones (special type without screw).
Cut the head of the clamp (3).
Disconnect the pipe (1) from the coupling and let the
coolant flow completely into the container.
Pour the coolant in a container for salvaged fluids.

The coolant is noxious:
DO NOT SWALLOW.
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE COOLANT IN THE ENVI-
RONMENT.
Keep the container in a safe place.
Replace the pipe clamp (3) with a new, screwdriver-
type pipe clamp.
Reconnect the pipe (1) to the lower coupling of the
coolant pump.
Tighten the new pipe clamp.
Cut the head of the clamp (4).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, replace the clamp with a
new one.
Withdraw the pipe (5) from the expansion tank coupling
Cut the head of the clamp (6).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, replace the clamp with a
new one.
Withdraw the pipe (7) from the expansion tank coupling
Remove the expansion tank (2).
NOTE
After reassembly, bleed the coolant, see p. 77
(BLEEDING THE COOLANT SYSTEM).

Drain the cooling system, see p. 75 (DRAINING THE
COOLANT SYSTEM).
Remove the right inspection cover, see p. 45 (REMOV-

Disconnect the terminal (8) [white/blue (Bi/B) cable]
from the thermistor (9).
Remove the thermistor (9), see ENGINE SERVICE
AND REPAIR MANUAL # 921 (I-UK-F-D-E).
