ATENCION
Para la recarga de la batería, no supere nunca la ten-
sión y el tiempo de carga indicados en la batería mis-
ma.
El uso de una tensión excesiva o la prolongación del
tiempo de recarga pueden dañar la batería.

Desmonte la batería de su alojamiento, véase pág. 145
(DESMONTAJE BATERIA).
Desenrosque y quite los tapones de los elementos.
Controle el nivel del electrolito bateria, véase pág. 147
(CONTROL NIVEL ELECTROLITO BATERIA).
Conecte la batería a un carga-baterías.
Se aconseja una recarga utilizando un amperaje de 1/
10 de la capacidad de la misma batería.
Tras haber realizado la recarga, vuelva a controlar el
nivel del electrolito y de resultar necesario rellene con
agua destilada.
Apriete los tapones de los elementos.

PELIGRO
Vuelva a instalar la batería sólo 5-10 minutos tras ha-
ber desconectado el cargador, ya que la batería sigue
produciendo, durante un breve periodo de tiempo,
gas hidrógeno muy inflamable.

When recharging the battery, never exceed the volt-
age and the recharge time indicated on the battery it-
self.
Excessive voltage or prolonged recharge time may
damage the battery.

Remove the battery from its compartment, see
pag. 145 (REMOVING THE BATTERY).
Unscrew and remove the element plugs.
Check the electrolyte level, see p. 147 (CHECKING
THE ELECTROLYTE LEVEL).
Connect the battery with a battery charger.
A recharge with an amperage equal to 1/10th of the
battery capacity is recommended.
After the recharging operation, check the electrolyte
level again and if necessary top up with distilled water.
Replace the element plugs.

Reinstall the battery only 5-10 minutes after discon-
necting the recharge equipment, since the battery
keeps sending out extremely inflammable hydrogen
gas for a short lapse of time.
