IMPORTANTE
Antes de actuar, compruebe el
funcionamiento del mando acelerador, véase pág. 31
(COMPROBACION FUNCIONAMIENTO MANDO ACE-
LERADOR).
El mando acelerador ha de tener un juego de unos 2-3
mm, que pueden medirse en el puño de gas.
Para ajustar el juego:
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Opere, en el lado trasero-izquierdo del vehículo, sobre el
regulador situado en el carburador.
IMPORTANTE
NO extraiga el elemento de pro-
tección cable mando arranque en frío (1).

ATENCION
Opere con precaución.
No doble ni fuerce los cables o componentes del car-
burador.
Extraiga el elemento de protección (2).
Afloje la tuerca (3).
Actúe sobre el regulador (4) colocado en la entrada del
cable mando acelerador.
Tras haber realizado el ajuste:
Apriete (destornillándola) la tuerca (3) bloqueando el
regulador (4) y coloque el elemento de protección (2).
Si con el regulador carburador (4) no se obtiene el jue-
go indicado, prosiga operando sobre el regulador ma-
necilla (5).
Para acceder al regulador manecilla (5):
Desmonte el cubremanillar inferior, véase pág. 57
(DESMONTAJE CUBREMANILLAR INFERIOR).
Para el ajuste:
Extraiga el elemento de protección (6).
Afloje la tuerca (7).
Actúe sobre el regulador (5) colocado en la entrada del
cable mando acelerador.
Al término del ajuste:
Apriete la tuerca (7), bloqueando el regulador (5) e ins-
tale el elemento de protección (6).

PELIGRO
Una vez finalizado el ajuste, compruebe que la rota-
ción del manillar no modifique el ralentí del motor y
que el puño de gas, una vez soltado, regrese suave y
automáticamente a la posición de reposo.

NOTE
Before carrying out any operation, check the
correct functioning of the accelerator control, see p. 31
(CHECKING THE OPERATION OF THE ACCELERA-
TOR CONTROL).
The ideal slack of the accelerator control should be about
2-3 mm.
To adjust the slack, proceed as follows:
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Work on the left rear side of the vehicle, and precisely
on the adjusting screw positioned on the carburettor.
NOTE
DO NOT withdraw the protection element of the
cold start control cable (1).

Proceed with care.
Do not bend or force the cables or the components of
the carburettor.
Remove the protection element (2).
Loosen the nut (3).
Act on the adjuster (4), positioned at the beginning of
the accelerator control cable.
After the adjustment:
Tighten the nut (3) (by turning it anticlockwise), thus
locking the adjuster (4) and put back the protection el-
ement (2).
If the prescribed slack cannot be obtained by means of
the carburettor adjuster (4), act on the throttle grip ad-
juster (5).
To reach the grip adjuster (5):
Remove the lower handlebar cover, see p. 57 (RE-
MOVING THE LOWER HANDLEBAR COVER).
For the adjustment:
Withdraw the protection element (6).
Loosen the nut (7).
Act on the adjuster (5), positioned at the beginning of
the accelerator control cable.
After the adjustment:
Tighten the nut (7), locking the adjuster (5) and put
back the protection element (6).

After the adjustment, make sure that the rotation of
the handlebar does not modify the engine idle speed
and that the throttle grip returns smoothly and auto-
matically to its original position after being released.
