Desmonte parcialmente el depósito aceite mezclador,
véase abajo (DESMONTAJE-Desmontaje parcial).
Controle el estado de eficiencia de la sonda nivel acei-
te (1), véase pág. 198 (CONTROL DEL SENSOR RE-
SERVA ACEITE)
Controle y, si necesario, lave con gasolina el filtro (2) y
el elemento filtrante, eliminando todas las incrustacio-
nes e impurezas.

PELIGRO
Deje enfriar el motor y el silenciador hasta alcanzar la
temperatura ambiente, antes de efectuar las sucesi-
vas operaciones, para evitar posibles quemaduras.
Desmontaje parcial
Desmonte la tapa colín, véase pág. 39 (DESMONTA-
JE TAPA COLIN - provista de soporte portamatrícula).
Quite el tapón depósito (3).

ATENCION
Aguante el depósito aceite mezclador (5) para evitar
que caiga accidentalmente.
Destornille y quite el tornillo (4).
Instale y fije el depósito aceite mezclador (5) entre el
guardabarros trasero y el silenciador de escape.
Vuelva a instalar el tapón (3).
Desmontaje total
Vacíe del todo el depósito aceite mezclador (5), véase
pág. 69 (VACIADO).
Desconecte los conectores eléctricos (6) de la sonda
nivel aceite mezclador (1).
IMPORTANTE
Prepare una abrazadera de des-
tornillador para sustituirla la original (de tipo especial sin
tornillo).
Corte la abrazadera (7) del filtro (2).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación sustituya
la abrazadera con una nueva.
Desconecte el filtro (2) del depósito aceite mezclador
(5).

If the mixer oil runs out, the engine may seize. This
may cause the overturning of the vehicle or other ac-
cidents, with consequent risk of serious injuries or
even death.

Partially remove the mixer oil tank, see below (RE-
MOVAL – Partial removal).
Check the efficiency of the oil level gauge (1), see
p. 198 (CHECKING THE OIL RESERVE SENSOR).
Check and if necessary wash the filter (2) and the filter-
ing element with petrol, removing any deposit and im-
purity.

Before performing the following operations, let the
engine and the exhaust silencer cool down until they
reach room temperature, in order to avoid burns.
Partial removal
Remove the cover of the rear part of the fairing, see
p. 39 (REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR PART
OF THE FAIRING – complete with number plate holder
support).
Remove the filler cap (3).

Support the mixer oil tank (5), to prevent it from acci-
dentally falling down.
Unscrew and remove the screw (4).
Position and fix the mixer oil tank (5) between the rear
mudguard and the exhaust silencer.
Put back the filler cap (3).
Complete removal
Drain the 2 stroke oil tank (5) completely, see p. 69
(DRAINING THE MIXER OIL TANK).
Disconnect the electric connectors (6) of the 2 stroke
oil level gauge (1).
NOTE
Get a screwdriver-type pipe clamp, to replace
the original one (special type without screw).
Cut the clamp (7) of the filter (2).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, replace the clamp with a
new one.
Disconnect the filter (2) from the 2 stroke oil tank (5).
