Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Suelte de los enganches (1) y (2) el tubo freno delan-
tero y el cable reenvío del cuentakilómetros.
Desmonte la rueda delantera, véase pág. 101 (DES-
MONTAJE RUEDA DELANTERA).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (3) para soltar el tubo fre-
no.
IMPORTANTE
Para facilitar la extracción del tornillo
(4), levante moderadamente la extremidad (A) del brazo
horizontal.
Destornille y quite el tornillo (4) y guarde la arandela (5)
y el soporte izquierdo del guardabarros delantero (6).
Par de apriete tuerca tornillo (4): 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (7).
Par de apriete tornillo (7): 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Saque el empalme pinza freno (8) completo.
Extraiga el casquillo (9).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación engrase el
casquillo (9), véase pág. 18 (TABLA LUBRICANTES).
De notar daños y/o señales de desgaste, desmonte y
sustituya los componentes siguientes:
– casquillo de plástico (10);
– anillos OR (11);
– casquillo (12);
– juntas guardapolvo (13);
– casquillo (14).
Destornille y quite la tuerca (15) y guarde la arandela
(16) y el distanciador (17).
Par de apriete tuerca (15): 50 Nm (5 kgm).
Extraiga el tornillo (18) y guarde el tirante (19).
De notar daños y/o señales de desgaste, desmonte y
sustituya el silent-block (20).

Carefully read p. 7 (GENERAL SAFETY RULES).
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.
Release the front brake pipe and the odometer control
cable from the couplings (1) and (2).
Remove the front wheel, see p. 101 (DISASSEMBLY).
Unscrew and remove the screw (3), releasing the
brake pipe.
NOTE
To facilitate the extraction of the screw (4),
slightly raise the end (A) of the horizontal arm.
Unscrew and remove the screw (4), taking the washer
(5) and the front mudguard left support (6).
Screw nut (4) driving torque: 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
Unscrew and remove the screw (7).
Screw (7) driving torque: 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Remove the whole brake caliper coupling (8).
Withdraw the bushing (9).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, grease the bushing (9), see
p. 19 (LUBRICANT CHART).
If any damage and/or sign of wear is observed, remove
and change the following components:
– plastic bushing (10);
– O rings (11);
– bushing (12);
– antidust gasket (13);
– bushing (14).
Unscrew and remove the nut (15), taking the washer
(16) and the spacer (17).
Nut (15) driving torque: 50 Nm (5 kgm).
Withdraw the screw (18), taking the tie rod (19).
If any damage and/or sign of wear is observed, remove
and replace the silent-block (20).
