Utilizando un destornillador plano, enderece el borde
doblado de la placa de bloqueo (21) (véase figura).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación el borde de la
placa de bloqueo (21) debe ser doblado de manera ade-
cuada sobre la tuerca (22).
IMPORTANTE
Marque la posición del soporte dere-
cho guardabarros delantero (23) para poder volver a ins-
talarlo correctamente.
Destornille y quite la tuerca (22).
Par de apriete tuerca (22): 120 Nm (12 kgm).
Guarde la placa de bloqueo (21) y el soporte derecho
guardabarros delantero (23).
Destornille y quite la tuerca (24).
Par de apriete tuerca (24): 120 Nm (12 kgm).
Extraiga el perno de fulcro (25) brazo horizontal (26)
con brazo vertical (27).
De notar daños y/o señales de desgaste, desmonte y
sustituya los componentes siguientes:
– arandela Seeger (28);
– cojinete de bolas (29);
– casquillo (30);
– junta (31);
– cojinete de rodillos (32);
– distanciador (33).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación engrase los
cojinetes (29) y (32), véase pág. 18 (TABLA LUBRICAN-
TES).
En caso de que sea necesario desmontar el brazo vertical
(27), proceda con las operaciones siguientes:
Desmonte el amortiguador delantero, véase pág. 129
(DESMONTAJE AMORTIGUADOR DELANTERO).
Aténgase a las instrucciones de pág. 125 (DESMON-
TAJE COJINETES MANGUITO DIRECCION).
Using a cut-headed screwdriver, straighten the bent
edge of the retainer plate (21) (see figure).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, the edge of the retainer plate
(21) must be properly folded on the nut (22).
NOTE
Mark the position of the front mudguard right
support (23), so that you can position it correctly upon re-
assembly.
Unscrew and remove the nut (22).
Nut (22) driving torque: 120 Nm (12 kgm).
Take the retainer plate (21) and the front mudguard
right support (23).
Unscrew and remove the nut (24).
Nut (24) driving torque: 120 Nm (12 kgm).
Withdraw the horizontal arm (26)-vertical arm (27) ful-
crum pin (25).
If any damage and/or sign of wear is observed, remove
and change the following components:
– snap ring (28);
– ball bearing (29);
– bushing (30);
– seal (31);
– roller bearing (32);
– spacer (33).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, grease the bearings (29) and
(32), see p. 19 (LUBRICANT CHART).
If it is necessary to remove the vertical arm (27), proceed
as follows:
Remove the front shock absorber, see p. 129 (RE-
MOVING THE FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER).
Keep to the instructions given at p. 125 (REMOVING
THE STEERING TUBE BEARINGS).
