PELIGRO
Deje enfriar el motor y el silenciador hasta alcanzar la
temperatura ambiente, antes de efectuar las sucesi-
vas operaciones, para evitar posibles quemaduras.
IMPORTANTE
Los dos tornillos (1) son más lar-
gos que los dos tornillos (2). Durante la instalación coló-
quelos de manera correcta.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (1) recuperando las
arandelas y los casquillos.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (2) recuperando las
arandelas y los casquillos.
Saque la tapa variador (3).
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (4).
IMPORTANTE
Controle el correcto emplaza-
miento del casquillo (5) y de la junta (6) situados entre el
guardabarros y el silenciador de escape.
Destornille y quite el tornillo (7) y guarde la arandela, el
casquillo (5) y la junta (6).
Saque el guardabarros trasero (8).

La prolongación guardabarros trasero (9) es muy útil du-
rante la marcha sobre carreteras mojadas ya que reduce
las salpicaduras de agua producidas por la rueda trasera.
IMPORTANTE
La prolongación guardabarros
trasero (9) se suministra de serie y está alojada en el vano
portacasco/portadocumentos.
Para la instalación:
Levante el sillín.
Saque del vano portacasco/portadocumentos la pro-
longación guardabarros trasero (9) provista de tornillos
y tuercas de fijación.
Destornille y quite el tornillo (10).
Coloque la prolongación guardabarros trasero (9) den-
tro del soporte del portamatrícula (11).
Atornille el tornillo (10).
IMPORTANTE
Sólo para
(12) y las tuercas correspondientes sirven también para fi-
jar la matrícula.

Introduzca los tres tornillos (12) y atornille las tuer-
cas correspondientes.
Introduzca los dos tornillos (13) y atornille las tuercas
correspondientes.
Controle el correcto emplazamiento de la prolongación
guardabarros trasero (9).
Apriete el tornillo (10).

Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

WARNING
Before performing the following operations, let the
engine and the exhaust silencer cool down until they
reach room temperature, in order to avoid burns.
NOTE
The two screws (1) are longer than the two
screws (2). Take care to position them correctly upon re-
assembly.
Unscrew and remove the two screws (1), taking the
washers and the bushes.
Unscrew and remove the two screws (2), taking the
washers and the bushes.
Remove the speed variator cover (3).
Unscrew and remove the two screws (4).
NOTE
Make sure that the bushing (5) and the gasket
(6) are positioned correctly between the mudguard and
the exhaust silencer.
Unscrew and remove the screw (7), taking the washer,
the bushing (5) and the gasket (6).
Remove the rear mudguard (8).

The extension of the rear mudguard (9) is extremely use-
ful when the road surface is wet, in fact it reduces the
reach of the water spray caused by the rear wheel.
NOTE
The rear mudguard extension (9) is supplied as
standard equipment and is positioned in the crash helmet
/ glove compartment.
For the installation, proceed as follows:
Raise the saddle.
Remove the rear mudguard extension (9) together with
the screws and the relevant fastening nuts from the
crash helmet / glove compartment.
Unscrew and remove the screw (10).
Position the rear mudguard extension (9) inside the
number plate-holder support (11).
Moderately tighten the screw (10).

NOTE
Only for
: the three screws (12) and the rel-
evant nuts serve also for the fastening of the number
plate.

Insert the three screws (12) and screw the relevant
nuts.
Insert the two screws (13) and screw the relevant nuts.
Make sure that the rear mudguard extension (9) is po-
sitioned correctly.
Tighten the screw (10).
I
Tighten the three screws (12).
Tighten the two screws (13).
