PELIGRO
Pare el motor y espere a que el motor y el sistema de
escape se hayan enfriado.
Desmonte los carenados laterales derecho e izquier-
do, véase pág. 47 (DESMONTAJE CARENADOS LA-
TERALES DERECHO E IZQUIERDO).
Levante el sillín.

PELIGRO
No quite el tapón de llenado del depósito de expan-
sión con el motor caliente, porque el líquido refrige-
rante está bajo presión y a temperatura elevada. Si lle-
ga a contacto con la piel o con la ropa puede causar
graves quemaduras y/o daños.
Actúe con cuidado y purgue la eventual presión pre-
sente en la instalación..
Desenrosque el tapón (1) dándole aproximadamente
media vuelta.
Espere unos segundos para permitir la purga de la
eventual presión presente en la instalación.
Desenrosque y quite el tapón (1).
Coloque un recipiente con capacidad no inferior a 1
por debajo del empalme radiador (2).
IMPORTANTE
Prepare unas abrazaderas de
destornillador para sustituirlas a las originales (de tipo
espe-cial sin tornillo).
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (3).
Extraiga del empalme (2) el tupo (4) y deje salir del
todo el líquido refrigerante en el recipiente.
Vierta el líquido que ha salido en un recipiente de reco-
gida para la recuperación de líquidos.

PELIGRO
El líquido refrigerante es nocivo: NO LO TRAGUE.
MANTENGASE LEJOS DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS.
NO ESPARZA EL LIQUIDO EN EL AMBIENTE.
Coloque el recipiente en un lugar seguro.
Sustituya la abrazadera (3) con otra nueva de destor-
nillador.
Conecte el tubo (2) en el empalme inferior bomba líqui-
do refrigerante.
Apriete la nueva abrazadera.

Stop the engine and wait until the engine and the ex-
haust system have cooled down.
Remove the right and left side fairings, see p. 47 (RE-
MOVING THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE FAIRINGS).
Raise the saddle.
Do not remove the expansion tank cap when the en-
gine is hot, since the coolant is under pressure and its
temperature is high. If it gets in contact with the skin
or with clothes, it may cause severe burns and/or
damages.
Proceed with care, releasing any residual pressure
that may be present in the system.
Loosen the plug (1), by giving it about half a turn.
Wait for a few seconds, in order to release any residual
pressure that may be present in the system.
Unscrew and remove the plug (1).
Position a container with at least 1
radiator coupling (2).
NOTE
Get screwdriver-type pipe clamps, to replace
L
the original ones (special type without screw).
Cut the head of the pipe clamp (3).
Withdraw the pipe (4) from the coupling (2) and let the
coolant drip completely into the container.
Put the coolant in another container for the collection of
fluids.
The coolant is noxious:
DO NOT SWALLOW.
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE COOLANT IN THE ENVI-
RONMENT.
Keep the container in a safe place.
Replace the pipe clamp (3) with a new, screwdriver-
type pipe clamp.
Reconnect the pipe (2) to the lower coupling of the
coolant pump.
Tighten the new pipe clamp.
