Se define como suspensión delantera al conjunto de los
componentes siguientes:
– brazo vertical (1);
– brazo horizontal (2);
– amortiguador (3);
– tirante (4);
– empalme pinza freno (5).

PELIGRO
Coloque un soporte adecuado por debajo del vehícu-
lo para impedir que caiga.
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central sobre
una superficie de elevación, con la rueda delantera
que sobresale del borde de la superficie misma.
IMPORTANTE
Prepare un soporte de 190 mm de
altura y base de apoyo de 200 x 200 mm.
Interponiendo un tejido esponjoso, coloque el soporte
por debajo del vehículo, de manera que la rueda delan-
tera tenga espacio suficiente para moverse libremente
y para evitar que el vehículo caiga.
Levante la superficie a una altura de 50-60 cm del sue-
lo, para poder extraer fácilmente la horquilla equipada
con la rueda.
Suelte de los enganches (6) y (7) el tubo freno delan-
tero y el cable reenvío del cuentakilómetros.
Desmonte la rueda delantera, véase pág. 101 (DES-
MONTAJE) .
Destornille y quite el tornillo (8) para soltar el tubo freno.
Desmonte el escudo delantero exterior, véase pág. 51
(DESMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO EXTERIOR).
Destornille y quite la tuerca (9).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (10).
Afloje la tuerca (11).
Par de apriete tuerca (11): 50 Nm (5 kgm).

ATENCION
No fuerce cables, tubos, conectores y cables eléctricos.
Extraiga completamente el manillar del manguito di-
rección.
Apoye el manillar sobre un soporte adecuado.
Extraiga y quite la junta de goma (12).
Destornille y quite la contratuerca (13).

ATENCION
Aguante la suspensión delantera para evitar que cai-
ga accidentalmente.
Destornille y quite la tuerca de ajuste (14).

ATENCION
Al extraer la suspensión delantera, ponga cuidado en
que las bolas del cojinete inferior no salgan de sus
alojamientos.
Extraiga la suspensión delantera del manguito direc-
ción.
Desmonte el guardabarros delantero, véase pág. 47

The front suspension comprises the following compo-
nents:
– vertical arm (1);
– horizontal arm (2);
– shock absorber (3);
– tie rod (4);
– brake caliper coupling (5).

Put a proper support under the vehicle, in order to
prevent it from falling down.
Position the vehicle on the centre stand, on a lifting
platform, with the front wheel protruding from the plat-
form edge.
NOTE
Prepare a 190 mm high support, the base of
which must measure 200 x 200 mm.
Place the support under the vehicle and a spongy cloth
between them, so that the front wheel can move freely
and the vehicle cannot fall down.
Lift the platform at 50-60 cm from the ground, in order
to be able to withdraw the fork together with the wheel
without problems.
Release the front brake pipe and the odometer control
cable from the couplings (6) and (7).
Remove the front wheel, see p. 101 (DISASSEMBLY).
Unscrew and remove the screw (8), releasing the
brake pipe.
Remove the front outer shield, see p. 51 (REMOVING
THE FRONT OUTER SHIELD).
Unscrew and remove the nut (9).
Unscrew and remove the screw (10).
Loosen the nut (11).
Nut (11) driving torque: 50 Nm (5 kgm).

Do not force the cables, pipes, connectors and elec-
tric wires.
Withdraw the handlebar from the steering tube com-
pletely.
Put the handlebar on a suitable support.
Withdraw and remove the rubber gasket (12).
Unscrew and remove the lock nut (13).

Support the front suspension, in order to prevent it
from accidentally falling down.
Unscrew and remove the adjusting nut (14).
a
When withdrawing the front suspension, take care to
prevent the lower bearing balls from going out of their
seat.
Withdraw the front suspension from the steering tube.
Remove the front mudguard, see p. 47 (REMOVING
THE FRONT MUDGUARD).
