Una de las causas de las vibraciones molestas del vehí-
culo es el desgaste o el daño de los silent-block.
Para controlar la integridad de los silent-block:
Desmonte los carenados laterales derecho e izquier-
do, véase pág. 47 (DESMONTAJE CARENADOS LA-
TERALES DERECHO E IZQUIERDO).
Controle visualmente la integridad del silent-block (1).
Si en el silent-block (1) están presentes fisuras o cortes
evidentes, sustitúyalo.
Para el desmontaje:
IMPORTANTE
Prepare un soporte (A) de 95 mm de
altura y base de apoyo 100 mm x 100 mm.
Coloque el soporte (A) bajo el alojamiento del silent-
block (1) para impedir su bajada.

ATENCION
Coloque un suplemento adecuado por debajo de la
rueda trasera, para impedir su bajada.
Destornille y quite la tuerca inferior (2).
Par de apriete tuerca inferior (2): 50 Nm (5,0 kgm).
Extraiga completamente el perno (3).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación: para introdu-
cir el perno (3), apalanque entre la placa (4) y el silent-
block (1) con un destornillador adecuado (5), hasta ali-
near los agujeros correspondientes (véase figura).
Actuando con el destornillador (5), ponga cuidado en no
dañar el silent-block (1).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (6).
Saque el silent block (1).

Annoying vibrations of the vehicle may be caused by worn
out or damaged silent-blocks.
To check the condition of the silent-blocks:
Remove the right and left side fairings, see vedi
pag. 47 (REMOVING THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE
FAIRINGS).
Visually check the soundness of the silent-block (1).
If the silent-block (1) shows evident cracks or cuts,
change it.
For the removal, proceed as follows:
NOTE
Prepare a 95 mm high support (A) with 100 x
100 mm base.
Place the support (A) under the seat of the silent-block
(1) to prevent it from lowering.

Put a proper shim under the rear wheel, to prevent it
from lowering.
Unscrew and remove the lower nut (2).
Lower nut (2) driving torque: 50 Nm (5.0 kgm).
Withdraw the pin (3) completely.
NOTE
Upon reassembly: to introduce the pin (3), lever
between the plate (4) and the silent-block (1) with a suita-
ble screwdriver (5), until the relevant holes are aligned
(see figure).
While working with the screwdriver (5), take care not to
damage the silent-block (1).
Unscrew and remove the screw (6).
Remove the silent block (1).
