Vacíe completamente el líquido refrigerante, véase
pág. 75 [DESCARGA INSTALACION DE REFRIGE-
RACION (excluyendo las tres últimas operaciones)].
Desmonte los carenados laterales derecho e izquier-
do, véase pág. 47 (DESMONTAJE CARENADOS LA-
TERALES DERECHO E IZQUIERDO).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (1) y guarde la arandela.
Desmonte el carenado delantero (2).
IMPORTANTE
Prepare unas abrazaderas de
destornillador para sustituirlas a las originales (de tipo es-
pecial sin tornillo).
Corte la cabeza de las abrazaderas (3) y (4).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación sustituya
las abrazaderas (3) y (4) con otras nuevas.
Extraiga de los tubos del radiador:
– el tubo de purga (5);
– el tubo de retorno (6).
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (7).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación coloque
correctamente el distanciador situado en corresponden-
cia con el tornillo (7).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (8).
Desmonte el radiador (9) provisto de soporte de plásti-
co.

Descargue la instalación de refrigeración, véase
pág. 75 (DESCARGA INSTALACION DE REFRIGE-
RACION).
IMPORTANTE
Prepare unas abrazaderas de
destornillador para sustituirlas a las originales (de tipo
espe-cial).
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (10).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación sustituya
la abrazadera (10) con otra nueva.

ATENCION
Marque el tubo (11) con una señal para que no se con-
funda al instalarlo.
Desempalme el tubo (11) de la bomba.
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (12).
IMPORTANTE
Durante la instalación sustituya
la abrazadera (12) con otra nueva.
Desempalme el tubo (13) de la bomba.
Saque la bomba líquido refrigerante, véase MANUAL
DE TALLER MOTOR # 921 (I-UK-F-D-E).

Carefully read page 7 (GENERAL SAFETY RULES)
and page 71 (COOLANT).
Drain the coolant completely, see p. 75 (DRAINING
THE COOLANT SYSTEM) (excluding the last three op-
erations)].
Remove the right and left side fairings, see p. 47 (RE-
MOVING THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE FAIRINGS).
Unscrew and remove the screw (1), taking the washer.
Remove the front fairing (2).
NOTE
Get screwdriver-type pipe clamps, to replace
the original ones (special type without screw).
Cut the head of the pipe clamps (3), and (4).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, replace the pipe clamps, (3)
and (4) with new ones.
Withdraw the following elements from the radiator cou-
plings:
– breather pipe (5);
– return pipe (6);
Unscrew and remove the two screws (7).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, position the spacer correct-
ly in correspondence with the screw (7).
Unscrew and remove the screw (8).
Remove the radiator (9) together with the plastic sup-
port.

Drain the cooling system, see p. 75 (DRAINING THE
COOLANT SYSTEM) .
NOTE
Get screwdriver-type pipe clamps to replace
the original ones (special type).
Cut the clamp head (10).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, replace the clamp (10) with
a new one.

Mark the pipe (11) in order to avoid any confu-sion
during the reassembly.
Disconnect the pipe (11) from the pump coupling.
Cut the clamp head (12).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, replace the clamp (12) with
a new one.
Disconnect the pipe (13) from the pump coupling.
Remove the coolant pump, see ENGINE SERVICE
AND REPAIR MANUAL # 921 (I-UK-F-D-E).
