Se define como suspensión trasera al conjunto de los
componentes siguientes:
– amortiguador (1);
– elemento de conexión doble (2);
– elemento de conexión individual (3);

SEGURIDAD).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.

ATENCION
Coloque un espesor adecuado por debajo de la rueda
trasera, para impedir su bajada.
Desmonte los carenados laterales, véase pág. 47
(DESMONTAJE CARENADOS LATERALES DERE-
CHO E IZQUIERDO).
Desmonte el carenado central, véase pág. 53 (DES-
MONTAJE CARENADO CENTRAL).
Desmonte la tapa colín, véase pág. 39 (DESMONTA-
JE TAPA COLIN - provista de soporte portamatrícula).
Coloque un soporte (4) por debajo del neumático tra-
sero para mantener la parte trasera del vehículo en po-
sición correcta tras haber soltado el amortiguador.
Destornille y quite la tuerca trasera (5).
Par de apriete tuerca trasera (5): 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
IMPORTANTE
Para facilitar la extracción del tornillo
(6), levante moderadamente la parte trasera del vehículo.
Extraiga el tornillo (6).
Destornille y quite la tuerca delantera (7).

ATENCION
Durante la instalación la tuerca delantera (7) debe ser
fijada con LOCTITE
.

Par de apriete tuerca delantera (7): 25 Nm (2,5 kgm).
Extraiga el tornillo (8).
Desmonte el amortiguador (1) extrayéndolo por el lado
delantero derecho (véase figura).
De notar daños y/o señales de desgaste, desmonte y
sustituya los casquillos (9) y los silent-block (10).

The rear suspension comprises the following compo-
nents:
– shock absorber (1);
– double connection element (2);
– single connection element (3).

Carefully read p. 7 (GENERAL SAFETY RULES).
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Position a suitable shim under the rear wheel, to pre-
vent it from lowering.
Remove the side fairings, see p. 47 (REMOVING THE
RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE FAIRINGS).
Remove the centre fairing, see p. 53 (REMOVING THE
CENTRE FAIRING).
Remove the cover of the rear part of the fairing, see
p. 39 (REMOVING THE COVER OF THE REAR PART
OF THE FAIRING – complete with number plate holder
support).
Position a support (4) under the rear wheel, in order to
keep the rear part of the vehicle in the correct position
after releasing the shock absorber.
Unscrew and remove the rear nut (5).
Rear nut (5) driving torque: 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
NOTE
To facilitate the extraction of the screw (6),
slightly raise the rear part of the vehicle.
Withdraw the screw (6).
Unscrew and remove the front nut (7).

Upon reassembly the front nut (7) must be fixed with
LOCTITE®
Front nut (7) driving torque: 25 Nm (2.5 kgm).
Withdraw the screw (8).
Remove the shock absorber (1), withdrawing it from
the front right side (see figure).
If any damage and/or sign of wear is observed, remove
and replace the bushings (9) and the silent-blocks (10).
