7.4.11 MD Function – Multiplication/Division
The MD function executes multiplication and division operations, using whole numbers.
CLICK- 02 has 31 MD instructions, seeing that each instruction uses 5 parameters for
configuration. The table below describes these parameters:

On the CLIC-02 display, or in the programming tool, the MD function will be shown as
follows:
The formula used will be the following:
The variable MDxx will contain the result of the processed formula, where xx is the number
of the used MD function. The error output will be turned on when the operation result
generates a value outside the supported range, from -32768 ~ 32767. The output will be
turned off automatically when the result is correct or the AS function is disabled.
