7.4.1.2 Timer Mode 1 – Energizing Delay
This timer will count time while it is enabled, stopping when it reaches the counting set-
point and turning on its output. If the enabling of the timer is turned off, the current counting
value will be zero and the timer output will be turned off. In the example below, the timer
will stop counting time when reaching the value of 5 seconds, turning on the contacts T01.

7.4.1.3 Timer Mode 2 – Energizing Delay with RESET
When enabled, the timer will count time until reaching the programmed value, turning on
its output contacts. If the timer enabling input turns off, the output contacts will keep on,
and can only be turned off by activating the reset input. In the example below, the timer
will count the programmed time of 5 seconds. The reset input is programmed as I01 and,
when enabled, will reset the current counting value and turn off the output contacts. Note
that, if the timer does not reach the programmed value and the enabling is turned off, the
current counting value will be maintained.
