10.2 REMOTE I/O FUNCTION
Up to 2 CLIC-02 units can be set for the Remote I/O mode, one as a master and the other
as a slave. Master CLIC-02 will execute its program, reading the inputs and powering the
outputs of the slave CLIC-02. The Slave CLIC-02 will not execute its program, all its inputs/
outputs will depend on Master CLIC-02. For powering the slave outputs Q, the master will
operate on the variables Y in its program. The slave inputs I will be written on the master
variables X. Therefore, no I/O expansion can be used in both the slave and the master.

Hardware Configuration:
1. Connect the CLIC-02 unities through the port RS-485, following the installation
instructions of the item 4.4.7.
2. Adjust the left CLIC-02 on the illustration to Master.
3. Adjust the other CLIC-02 to Slave.
