5.5 LADDER LOGIC PROGRAMMING ENVIRONMENT
The Ladder Logic Programming Environment includes all CLIC-02 functions for
programming and testing using the Ladder Logic programming language. To start a new
program select File – New, select the desired CLIC-02 model and the number of connected
expansion units, as shown below.
5.5.1 Menus, Icons and Status Displays
The ladder programming environment includes the following Menus, Icons and Status
Displays
1. Menu Bar – Five menu options for program development and retrieval, edition,
communication with connected controllers, configuration of special functions and view
of favorite selections.
2. Main Taskbar – (from Left to Right)
Icons for a new program, open a program, save a program and print a program.
Icons for Keyboard, Ladder view, HMI/Text edition, edition of Symbols (comments).
Icons for Monitor, Simulator, Simulation Controller, changes of Controller Mode (Put in
RUN, STOP and End Connection) and Read/Write programs from/to CLIC-02.
3. Used Address List - List for all memory types and addresses used with the current
program. Used addresses are identified with the symbol "*" below each address.
4. Amount of free program memory available.
5. Current Mode - operation mode of the connected controller or simulator mode.
6. Ladder Toolbar – icons for selection and input of all available Ladder Logic instructions.
7. Status Bar – displays the operation mode of the controller, the connection status and
the firmware version of the controller.
