7.4.1.4 Timer Mode 3 – De-energizing Delay
The timer will start the output contacts immediately after its enabling, but when this enabling
is turned off, the timer output will remain active during the programmed time. When the
reset input is activated, the current counting value is reset and the timer outputs will be
turned off.
In example 1, the timer will count 5 seconds after having its enabling sign turned off. In
example 2, we observe the acting of the reset input, which resets the counting value and
disables the timer output. Every time the timer is counting to turn off and the enabling input
is turned on again, the current counting value will be reset.
