5.5.6 Operation Menu
The Operation menu includes various configuration functions and specific commands of
the CLIC-02. Below, the details of every function.
Online Functions:
Monitoring. Enables the monitoring of the program running on the CLIC-02;

Run/Stop. Alternates the CLIC-02 mode to RUN or STOP;
„
Quit. Ends the monitoring and goes into edition mode;
„
Read. Transfers the existing program in CLIC-02 to edition;
„
Write. Transfers the program under edition to the connected CLIC-02;
„
RTC Adjustment. Sets the real time clock – date and hour (see figure below);
„
Password. Establishes a password to protect the existing program on CLIC-02 against
„
improper reading.
Offline Functions:
Simulation. Enables the simulation mode, which allows the program testing without the
„
need of CLIC-02;
Simulator Control. Allows setting the Simulator to the process responses (ex.: activating
„
the pump (Q1), the pressure switch of the line will actuate);
Adjustment of the Analogs. Sets the analog inputs A01-A08 – gain and offset (see figure
„
below);
Language. Selects the CLIC-02 language;
„
System Configuration. Allows changing specific configurations of CLIC-02, including
„
Module ID, remote I/O configuration, I/O expansion configuration, adjustments of retentive
memory for Counters (C) and auxiliary markers (M), enabling of auxiliary contacts for keys
(Z) and LCD display illumination.
Connect to PLC. Allows selecting the communication port to connect to the CLIC-02.
