7.2.6 Function Pulse Output - Flip-Flop (P)
A pulse output instruction, or Flip-Flop, alternates the logic status of a digital output (Q),
expansion output (Y), auxiliary marker (M) or (N) when the contact previous to the output
changes from off to on. In the example below, when the command button I03 is pressed,
Q04 will turn on and will keep on even if the button is deactivated. When the command
button I03 is pressed again, Q04 will turn off and keep off after releasing the button. The
pulse instruction (P) will alternate its status from on to off and vice-versa every time the
command button I03 is pressed.
