7.4.14 AR Function – Analog Ramp
The analog ramp function will vary its output value, starting from an initial value to a set-point
one, under a certain increment rate. The ramp function has two outpus set-points, which
are determined in accordance with the selection input. CLICK-02 has 15 AR instructions,
each containing 10 paramenters for configuration, as shown in the table below:
On the CLIC-02 display, or in the programming tool, the AR function will be shown as follows:
The ramp output will be available in the ARxx variables, where xx is the number of the used
AR function. The Gain and Offset parameters are applied in accordance with the equation:
The increment rate will be added to the current output every 100ms to reach the set-point
value. The selection input of the set-point will define the value that the ramp will reach at
the output, as shown in the table below:
The error output will actuate when the gain parameter value is zero, and will be turned off
when the parameter returns to a valid value or the AR function is disabled.
