8.2 FUNCTION BLOCKS
The Function Blocks are divided into three types: Special Function, Adjustment-Control
Function and Communication Function. The classifications and their functions are shown
in the table below.

The memory taken by each block is not fixed, depending on the type and function mode.
There are 260 blocks and their total memory capacity is 6000 bytes. For example, the
Timer block in mode 7 takes a memory of 12 bytes.
