11 EXPANSION MODULES

All the CLIC-02 models allow the connection of expansion modules. The maximum
grouping is of 3 digital modules, 2 Analog Output Modules, 2 Analog Input Modules and
1 Communication Module. The connection sequence of the expansion modules must be:
digital, analog and communication module.
CLIC-02/4AI must be the last of the analog modules.

11.1 LIMITATIONS OF THE EXPANSION MODULES
There are 2 versions of firmware for the expansion modules of Digital I/O: 1.2 and 3.0. Both
can be connected to CLIC-02 simultaneously, but if you need the maximum number of
expansions, there is a restriction regarding the use of versions 1.2. Carefully observe the
conditions shown below, as they demonstrate the 3 connection modes of the expansion
modules.
