All the performance data and objects for the configuration of the
bus coupler are listed in the Electronic Data Sheet (EDS).
This file is on hand for the bus coupler and is called
RXyyRMV4_CO.EDS (yy = version). The EDS file can be downloaded
from the Internet at www.aventics.com/mediadirectory
Configuration work may only be carried out by qualified
electronics personnel and in compliance with the
operator's documentation on configuring the bus master as
well as applicable technical standards, directives, and
safety regulations.
Before starting configuration, the following steps must have
been carried out and completed on the bus coupler:
You have assembled the valve system and the bus couplers

You have connected the bus coupler (see "Connecting the

bus coupler electrically" on page 104).
You have carried out the presettings (see "Making

presettings" on page 113).
Configuration error
An incorrectly configured bus coupler will lead to
malfunctions in the system and may damage the system.
The configuration may only be carried out by qualified

electronics personnel!
Configure the bus system in accordance with your system
O
requirements, the specifications in the EDS, the
manufacturer's specifications, and all valid technical
standards, directives, and safety regulations.
Take the operator's documentation on configuring the bus
master into account.
