Setting the bus terminator

In order to minimize line reflections and to ensure a defined rest
level on the CANopen transfer line, a bus terminator has to be
fitted on both ends of the transfer line.
In the bus coupler, the bus terminator has been integrated into
the device and can be defined using switch S8.

The bus terminator setting is located beneath the PG fitting B
(see Fig. 10).
Set the bus terminator with switch S8 (see Tab. 19).

The switch is in the OFF position when delivered, i.e. the bus
terminator is switched off.

Configuring the bus system

The settings to be made for the overall system during the bus
configuration are superior to the already described settings on
the bus coupler.
