• FUEL PUMP (LOW PRESSURE SIDE)
INSTALLATION:
1) Apply engine oil to the new O-ring and install it on the fuel
pump (low pressure side).
2) Install the fuel pump with the arrow marks in the directions
shown.
3) Tighten the two 6 x 20 mm flange bolts to the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 9 N . m (0.9 kgf . m, 6.6 lbf . ft)
b. INSPECTION
• FUEL PUMP (LOW PRESSURE SIDE)
1) Check the fuel pump for fuel leakage.
2) Push the plunger and check that it moves smoothly.
Replace the plunger if necessary.
c. DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY
• FUEL STRAINER (LOW PRESSURE SIDE)
