8) Open the wire harness clip and release the power tilt motor
wire and the trim angle sensor from the clip.
Remove the motor wire bushing from the L. stern bracket.

9) Remove the two 6 x 20 mm flange bolts from the trim angle

sensor, and remove the trim angle sensor.
Pull the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle sensor

wire out of the hole in the L. stern bracket.

10) Remove the two 6 x 23 mm flange bolts and remove the
anode metal.

Check the anode metal for corrosion. Replace the anode
metal with a new one if it is corroded excessively.

Loosen the 6 x 8 mm screw and remove the 116 mm lead

wire.
