32) Apply ATF to the outer surface of the lower part of the
cylinder and to the inner wall of the bottom piece.
Install the cylinder/piston rod assembly on the bottom

Do not damage the O-rings during installation.

33) Hold the bottom piece in a vise using a shop towel or
equivalent material, and hold the cylinder/piston rod

assembly upright.

NOTICE
Do not tighten the vise excessively, as it can damage the

bottom piece.
34) Pour the ATF into the cylinder slowly not to foam it. Pour

up to the top of the cylinder.

35) Apply ATF to a new O-ring, and install it in the groove
inside the outer tube.

Install the O-ring with care not to damage it.
