52) Tighten the outer tube guide to the specified torque.
NOTICE

To tighten the outer tube guide, use the special tool and
read the torque as follows.

• Example:
Torque wrench reading in case of using a torque wrench
which effective length is 0.4 m (1.31 ft)

0.4 [m (1.31 ft)] x 88 [N . m (9.0 kgf . m, 65 lbf . ft)]

0.4 [m (1.31 ft)] + 0.05 [m (0.164 ft)]
= 78 [N . m (8.0 kgf . m, 58 lbf . ft)]

Tighten the manual valve to the specified torque.

TORQUE: 1.7 N . m (0.2 kgf . m, 1.3 lbf . ft)

53) Apply ATF to a new oil seal and install it in the groove in
the oil tank.

Do not damage the oil seal during installation.
54) Apply ATF to a new O-ring and install it on the outer tube

guide.

55) Apply ATF to the piston rod, and install the oil tank while
turning it.
Do not damage the oil seal during installation.
56) Set the oil tank in the direction shown, and tighten the
5 mm socket bolts to the specified torque.
• Install and tighten the motor wire bracket B in the position
shown.
TORQUE: 4.7 N . m (0.5 kgf . m, 3.5 lbf . ft)
57) Remove the seal tape from the threads at the end of the
piston rod.
