Turning on/off the burner
The respective configuration window will open when pressing on the picture of the
burner.
A. On: When clicked, it turns on the fuel pump and the fuel valve. The pilot flame
stays on as long as the button is pushed. If the flame fails, then the off button
should be pushed. If the plant has a flame sensor, its purpose is to monitor and
turn off the fuel valve if any failure occurs.
ATTENTION
The fan, exhauster, dryer, and compressor motors must be on before
turning on the burner.
DANGER
If the pilot flame does not turn on, check the condition of the electrodes of
the pilot flame. Make sure that the electrodes are not touching each other
or impregnated with residues from burning the previous day. If the
electrodes are dirty, use a piece of sandpaper to clean them. Another
procedure is to check the pressure of the gas tank, which should be around
3 to 4 kgf/mm². Once all this is done, try turning on the burner again.
When turning on the flame, always check if the burning is doing well. The
easiest way to check this is by the luminosity of the flame. It is extremely
important to have good burning to keep the bag filters from getting
impregnated with soot which decreases their filtering surface and durability.
The stability of the burner's flame is directly related to the temperature of
the fuel. Therefore, you should always keep an eye on the work
temperature limits of the fuel being used. Avoid running out of fuel since
this makes it so that air enters the line, which can cause problems with the
flame.
Once the flame is on, always pay attention so that no problems occur that
could put other people at risk. In order to do this, always check the
positioning of the rearview mirror and the video camera, if there is one, to
help the monitoring.
B. Off: when this button is clicked, the fuel pump is turned off, which extinguishes the
burner's flame;
ATTENTION
The flame will be put out if the e fan, exhauster, dryer, and compressor
motors are turned off.
C. Proportional increase arrow of the Air–Fuel mixture: while keeping the increase
arrow button clicked, the quantity of air or fuel of the flame increases, which
follows the proportion established in Ciber's restricted access screens;
